Last Thursday night on the intertube machine, 53 servers loaded up Well as 107 teams (kudos to the lucky teams that got the bye) fought for their share of the $1,500 cash prize (as well as some fancy Network Cards) in the upper brackets of Alienware Arena's Bigfoot Killer Edge Challenge.
Now, as a reminder, please note that we’re talking about a Double Elimination tournament here. Because of that, all of the losers of this Round are guaranteed a second chance. From here on out, though, that won’t be the case. To see the rules in more detail, check out Graham’s article.

So, as with any first round, it was just a bunch of rolls to separate the Upper Bracket from the Lower Bracket. From here on out though, the competition will get tighter. The only interesting game was in Bracket J: Lawn Care INC 3 – 4 TerrorByte. I know a guy who was involved in the game. If I can steal the demo for you guys, I'll post a comment with the link at the end of this article.
