Iron Pugs 2015 Winter Tournament

A two-night 6v6 tournament for low-level North American players, run by the Iron Pugs PUG community and presented by EyeGames and AandJapps.com. Players signed up on their own and the admins placed them on eight random teams, mixing skill levels; anyone who had played on a UGC Platinum team or in ESEA was not eligible, and Gold players could only sign up as medic.

The teams played a seven-round round robin on 19 and 20 December 2015 from 7 PM EST, one map per round (Metalworks, Sunshine, Granary, Snakewater, Gullywash, Process, Badlands). Each game was one UGC half: first to four points or 30 minutes, with draws allowed. Teams were ranked on point difference, and the top two played a best-of-three final. Hips Don't Lie beat Real Housewives of 2Fort 2-0, with both maps tied after 30 minutes and decided by a golden cap. Classic Mex^ finished third on the round-robin table. Cash Money Business did not return for the second night and forfeited its last three games.
