Fourteen teams, one venue, two days. RGL LAN 2026 takes North American sixes off the ladder and puts it on a stage at Localhost in Philadelphia on July 25th and 26th. This is RGL's third LAN in Philly, and this one's stacked: the Season 20 Invite playoffs up top, a ten-team Open Cup running alongside it, and the first MGE 2026 LAN World Championship squeezed in between. Here's what's worth your time.
The Invite bracket
Four teams came out of the Invite season, and honestly the table already tells you most of what you need to know.
Like A G6 didn't drop a single series all season. Fifteen wins, zero losses. That's not a good run of form, that's a different gear, and it makes them the team everyone else spends the weekend trying to solve. GlobalClan Xiao were the only side that kept them honest, finishing 12-3 and taking second on the results rather than by default. After those two, the field drops off a cliff. GlobalClan Ice limped into third at 6-9, and The Mafia snuck into the last spot at 5-10, pipping Labwork by a single map on differential. LAN resets everyone to zero, but nobody's pretending the seeds lie.
It's a four-team double-elimination bracket. Best-of-three the whole way, except the grand final, which is a best-of-five with the upper-bracket team spotted a map.
The seeding sets up two opening matches:
That second one is a GlobalClan house match, two teams under the same banner trying to shove each other into the losers' bracket. Win your semi and you're a single series from the final with a map already in your pocket. Lose it and you've got a one-and-done climb through the lower bracket just to get back to that stage.
So, can anyone actually beat G6?
That's the whole tournament in one question. A 15-0 season doesn't leave much wiggle room, and it's not like they're rusty or holding back: kobe1920 and logan are both pulling double duty this weekend, entered in the MGE championship as well. If a real challenge is coming, it's from GlobalClan Xiao, who have the season to back it up and, in a double-elim format, only need to catch G6 twice on the day. And keep the door open for a full GlobalClan grand final, the two sister squads running it back with a trophy on the table.
The Invite pool pays out four deep, plus real medals and TF2 weapon replicas for the podium:
- 1st: $1,172.71
- 2nd: $972.26
- 3rd: $661.81
- 4th: $496.35

The Open Cup
Everyone who isn't in the Invite four gets their own tournament. The Open Cup plays a round-robin group stage on Saturday and turns Sunday into a playoff off the back of it. Ten teams are in, a mix of ringers, pub heroes and squads you'll probably be hearing more from next season. One-day group stages with a live crowd have a way of producing upsets, so if you like your TF2 a little chaotic, this is your bracket.

MGE World Championship
Now the weird one, in the best way. It's a LAN 1v1 tournament to settle who the best duelist in the world actually is. Four players made it in, two through the North American qualifier, one through Europe, plus the reigning champ:
- Alov, European qualifier winner
- logan, first out of NA
- sighguy, second out of NA
- kobe1920, defending world champion
They start with a round-robin of best-of-three arena matches, then a single-elimination playoff where every match is a best-of-three set of arenas, each arena itself a best-of-three of games. Eight maps are in the pool: Ammomod, Badlands mid, Flyover, Gullywash mid, Node, Product mid, Silo and Spire. Prize money is $1,000, $500, $300 and $200 down the top four. There's a pre-show today with predictions, interviews and live pick/bans over on twitch.tv/mgetf.
